I’m not really much of a basketball watcher as I grew up in the late 70’s and 80’s and was more accustomed to the old school style of play – in the paint, drives to the basket, “big man” in the middle type of stuff. Today’s professional men are just hard for me to watch so I don’t. I searched the girl from Louisville and saw Kobe Bryant had become a mentor to her so i decided to watch the highlights. It was really entertaining to me like watching the old style game. I’ll be tuning in to girls college basketball now.

Maybe what TX needs is a wholesale change in its coaching staff, starting with the HC, before the school leaves the Big12 to join SEC. Perhaps a coaching staff led by a younger HC who has experience and familiarity with a major bb program from an SEC college (hint hint AL) would prepare TX well for the challenge of playing in a new conference because it sho ain't gonna get any easier!
In the end, it's all about making the shots by any means necessary. Rebounds, good looks and defence are all necessary but not sufficient. Those must lead to scoring more than your opponent. Louisville did that, but Texas didn't.

The B12 is way overrated in women's basketball. No teams in the sweet 16 this year. I remember Notre Dame last year smoked Oklahoma in the round of 32 on Oklahoma's home court. Now Louisville smokes Texas on Texas's home court. The sweet 16 is now 4 ACC teams, 4 SEC teams, 3 B10 teams, 3 Pac12 teams and 2 BigEast teams with 0 B12 teams ????.
